We will also be offering a few opportunities for new players to participate in a Mahjong 101. These lessons are geared towards beginners who have never played or have not played in a long time and need a refresher.

Each lesson is one hour and 45 minutes where we will walk you through each part of the game of Mahjong starting with the tiles, the National Mahjong League card and then you will learn how the game is played as you’re playing!

You will leave with a basic understanding of the game, but we recommend 2 to 3 lessons to really be able to play independently. We will provide all materials for your lesson as well as a handout sheet for note taking (if that’s your thing!) and to take home with you as reminders!
